Thanks for the quick reply. That sounds like good news to me. I am on a budget at the moment so at least I know I can splice the gauge to the stock sensor and then later get a wideband sensor.

Does this mean that the stock s14 sr o2 sensor I have is a narrowband sensor?

Also, later when I get a wideband sensor, do I need a controller for it?
