You may also want to look into Bridgestone s04. They were reasonably priced ($145/ea), have excellent wet traction, and are incredibly quiet. The dry traction is predictable and treadwear is ok. As a comparison, they ride quieter than the Michelin Pilots I have mounted on the rear for sliding right now.
