i installed an oil temp gauge electric, and it just sits at the minimum temperature after the car has been running, however if i take the sender, ground it and put it in a pot of boiling water, the gauge works perfectly. i am pretty sure i was getting a good ground to the block since i was using the nissport adapter and the factory unit was still working, plus i checked it with a voltmeter, what else could be wrong?
