The alpine Spr-60 won't fit with these plates. They are actually 6 3/4" speakers and require a 5 5/16 cutout hole for the speaker to mount in to. The BA Plates have a 5 1/16 hole in them so you will need to find a speaker that calls for this cutout or less. Crutchfield.com is a good resource for picking speakers. They are really good about giving you a lot of detailed specs on whatever speakers you are looking at.

Keep an eye on what the top mounting depth dimension is. The shorter here the better. Also you probably don't want to select a speaker with a huge magnet on the back. The magnet diameter plays a large part in whether or not it's going clear the glass. Beware of 6 3/4" speakers like the Alpine you were looking at. Sometimes they are listed as 6 1/2" because in some applications they are interchangeable but not this one. Try to find whichever speaker you are looking at from several different sellers or perhaps the manufacturer, just to make sure it's not the wrong size.

All that being said, speaker selection is probably the trickiest part of this installation. I have personally installed several of these and can tell you that there are many speakers that will fit but whichever you select is really up to you. Good luck with your search.
