When I took the hub/aluminum upright apart on one side the hub just slid right off and the ebrake assembly came off. But for some reason on the other side it's not so simple... maybe you can help. I got the alum. upright off and all bolts out, but for some reason the hub seems attatched to the ebrake in one spot. It will pull out but not detatch... in a spring like action... like something is cought in there.
