The GR2's arent stiff enough to be used with most aftermarket springs. Chances are, they'll blow fairly quickly when coupled with some medium stiff springs. The stiffness coupled with the shortened springs spells bad news on OEM style shocks.
If I were you, I'd change shock/springs as a combo. Its gonna cost the same for labor anyways. Why would you want to reuse ur old shocks when you install new springs, when you can have the new shocks installed for free.
Get some AGX, there is a group buy underway for around $340bucks shipped. They are adjustable and seem to be pretty durable. If your really cheap, get some Tokico blues, they can be had for under $300 day or night. You can get springs for around $200, give or take, no matter what brand.
