I fig, hey i have never driven one and every one on the board says, stock it should beat a KA. So i took it out for a quick spin i guess you could call it. Im sorry but for a 5spd 195hp 4 banger I would excpect soooooooooooooooooo much more. It was slow as hell untill about 5,600 rpms and then you could feel the jerk kick in. Still there is no way that the stock 99 can beat our KA's. It really sucked to becuase I always thought they were more then what I got. My friend has a 98 V6 accord and beats the hell out of them. Guess i know why now..... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''></td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
no the prelude is not slow as hell, if it is, a stock 240sx is even slower than hell. The preludes has damn good amount of torque for a honda motor (156ft/lbs vs. 160 on a 240sx). I actually pulls pretty well, until up to 4500rpm, then it really get up and goes... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>.

I do love my 240sx, but the prelude has to be one of my favorite FWD cars. Our family had one for 12 years, and it served us damn well (until I totalled it.)
