More advance timing= more time for fuel to burn. Timing naturally retards when you go off throttle, cause more unburned fuel to get past the engine and ignite in the exhaust system.

The only way the Bee-r with help shoot flames is if you hit the rev limiter. THen you'll have ignition cut with no fuel cut.
