100k is pretty low. make sure the clutch and waterpump have been replaced, also check that the axle shafts have been greased. i believe the list price for the clutch is like 600 bucks. parts for the 924/944/951/968 family tend to be notoriously expensive, but they are really fun cars. i always say that the are shitty porsches but good cars.
is it a turbo? with a chip, cam, intake and exhaust, the turbo 2.5 944's will push 320-350 hp easily.
