I would just take it to a local shop and have them cut it. It will save you a lot of time and anger towards your car. Cost you like 20 to 40 bucks and cut nuckles. Just catch them when there opening and they should be able to slide you in and out in like 15 mins. Then go home and bolt it up.
Also ask them for replacement bolts.
