Would work fine for a DSM (w/ active timing control) or other factory turbocharged car...or a KA-T with a built motor...but a stock block KA-T needs just a little knock to break the ring lands.
Lean it a couple percent too much, and you'll be buying a new motor.
Just spend the $60 on a couple dyno pulls with wideband, and go from there.
Gotta pay to play, simple as that. And when you half-ass it, you'll pay even more...trying to be cheap and go fast = more money spent than if you would have done it right the first time.
