OMG you have an Opeth sig pic!!

I've been into them since like 1997. Morningrise got me to be their biggest fan(boy) ever.

Anywho, I installed these Megan Track coilovers onto my boss's S13 coupe, which has basically stock suspension and 18" wheels, running 225/45/18 fronts and 245/40/18s in the rear.

We set the damping to 20 front and rear to make sure they wouldn't bounce too much before we put it on.

After it was on, we took it for a test drive.

Holy crap, only flex in the suspension were the tires. Toyo Proxies 4 tires. My friend weighs 190 lbs and basically jumped on the rear bumper, and the rear of the car came down maybe 2mm (the top of the tire never touched the fender, and we have it set at maybe like 2 fingers worth of gap cause rear fenders aren't rolled).

Car cornered well, but going over bumps and such you're definitely going to feel it. Driveways will make you lift the inside rear wheel, so LSD is recommended.

So here's my solution:

Since I've heard people complain about the Megan Street coilovers's damping, saying that they were too soft, and thus the coilovers were oversprung, ie. bouncy, I would get the Track coilovers and get 10k springs for front, and 8k springs for rear.

That way, damping will be sufficient for the 10/8 springs, since they were meant for 12/10, and 10/8 still wouldn't be too bad. I don't know if the valving will work for 8/6 or not, seeing that's 4 kg/mm of difference, which is quite a bit.

Let me know what you guys think...
