Well this is what I would do... Cut up some cardboard boxes and duck tape them to the windows then go buy one of those blue plastic tarps from WalMart or Home Depot big enough to cover the whole car and some rope. Get a couple of old bed comforters that are kind of fluffy and drape them over you car front to back then tie down the blue plastic tarp over the car with rope front to back and now you have flying object protection and water protection!
