i have the same problem. Me and my friends are moving int oan apartment this summer, and we are all in College, and i am bursting with ideas for the ol SX. But i am going about it this way:
Save and save and save while living in the apartment, and plan plan plan while in the apartment as well (I already have my plan worked out into 4 big phases <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='
'>). Then when you end up renting /buying a house with a garage, you will have detailed plans ans info and money to help you get the project going the right way!!
