ok..the problem with running the wire through the firewall is you will have to find ways to hide the wire in the cockpit. It really sucks to rip apart doors, trim and carpet. Run the cable down behind the battery and follow the brake lines. You will see several lines running toward the back of the car on the passenger side on the inside of the frame. Zip-tie the wire to the others and run it back, above the diff and into the grommit where the spare tire is.
