DO NOT need to buy anything additional for a subtle drop. Instead of continually questioning the answers you've been given, go read up thoroughly on how the OE suspension is designed and what parts it's comprised of. That way you'll know more about what others are talking about and be able to decide for yourself what you'll need, without arguing blindly about shit you don't know about.
Anyone can tell you that you'll need additional hardware, whether you do or don't depends heavily on what your plans are for the car. Even if you were to lower the car significantly you'll only need two of the above items to realign, and both can be had for $200 all day long.
Research first, then ask questions.
