Well I think my dad's harmonic balancer puller for his big block is laying around somewhere, I'm sure that will be large enough... It was definately leaking off the bottom of the engine, and seemed to be coming from on top of the oil pan, but there were no signs near the fan pulley, couldn't really see down to much further... Is this seal a common thing to go after around 170000km?

Edit: Or if it's been sitting for approx 7-8 mnths...
