But your point isn't really valid at all. Nobody is bashing auto-x because it is about as safe as you can get, everybody understands the risks and signs a waver, and its legal.

Tell me what's so unsafe about running from 0-80mph on an empty 4 lane road? I don't see anything wrong with it.

So you never tried autox, but you are already bashing street racing. Have you ever tried racing somebody from a red light?

And going back to older people doing autox... well if you want to get there asap, feel free. But i'm 95% sure, that those people street raced in their teens.
