the rest of the xtreme owners are not better or no worse than the 'typical' honda kid (not talking about the serious honda fixer upper people).  i found a St. Louis club but it was all S10 xtremes air intakes and strobe lights galore, enough chevy emblems for 3 cars, and the typical stuff (badly painted air vents).    i don't know what the hell i got myself into. i will be car clubless when it comes to my blazer i guess.

anyway, doesn't have much to do with our  240SX's, but anytime i feel this place gets a sudden burst of newbies asking about SR's again, i just remember the strobe lights on the S10's. this place isn't near as bad as i thought when it comes to car enthusiests.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
I know what you are talking about.  "Ricers" (often young kids) that will put on some altezzas and blue Honda symbols.  Furthermore, kids that put an intake and exhaust on and think their ride can smoke any other car.  I saw/heard it everyday at my highschool.  I just shrugged off the comments and ignored the ugly lookin "riced out" Hondas.  I knew that I was going to get a nice car that is clean with the go to back it up.  I also wanted (still do) a unique car, not another Civic.  I finally found that car - Nissan 240SX.  Now, I want to make this car clean and nice looking (S15 conversion).  I think this looks better, would you call it rice to convert an S14 to an S15?  You also speak of noobs and SR's.  I guess you could call me a noob to this forum, but why are you calling it "rice" or something to put a better engine into the 240SX to make it fast, not just some stickers and some tint to look cool?  I wouldn't consider the S15 conv and the SR20DET "rice" mods, just please look around at almost* every Honda, before you make these statements.
