Funny how everyone forgets about this one when they have problems starting their car thinking either the battery's dead or the starter's toast.
Have you checked your ignition switch?? The START position on your ignition switch could have gone bad.
I had this happen to me on my S14 & after replacing everything I could possibly could think of on the starter circuit, I realized that I hadn't checked the ignition switch. After removing the steering column cover & testing the ignition switch with a voltmeter, I finally figured out what the cause of my starting problems was....a bad START position on my ignition switch.
After removing the two phillips head screws that held the wires & switch in place and replacing it with a working spare I had lying around, the car started up without any problems. Had I checked the ignition switch first, (like I should have), I would have saved myself a lot of time & money...
Check it out & post your findings here.
Anyhow, hope this helps....
