Ok, for about 2 weeks now i have been have a problem that i couldnt figure out.
-the motor runs great, perfect air fuels across the board, then after 10 min of Driving, a boost or two, mid- throttle brake-up strikes (WOT still strong).During the brake-up all my sensors read normal. My air fuels spike to lean for a split sec. I pull the plugs.... all white, i gapped my plugs, changed MAF's, rewired the MAF wiring away from my turbo, checked all my piping and vac. lines. still the same problem.. i still drive it short distances hoping to figure out this problem....
3 or 4 days pass.....
rain for the past day
i wake up for work... auto start my car (like i do every morning).. it sounded fine on start up.. i get in the car 4 min later... put the key in... and give it a few small revs... all of a sudden ... POP!! BANG!!!!!!!!! misfire?? BANG!! detonation?!?!?!!!! wtf!!! i shut it off... and started it back up... the revs were ALL OVER THE PLACE every 2 sec. the motor would put out a deep !POP! sound or a BANG.. it would stay alive it self but rpm were undriveable, jumping from 1200 to 400 to 100... very rapidly
i got a ride to work and when i got back i auto started it just for shits....
........sounded fine, i shut it down and put it off to the morning,
anyone have any SMART ideas...
