Basically, anything you do do your airflow system will effect how your car performs. Double check emissions regulations in your area before doing anything. Also, don't do anything unless you know what you're doing ("I heard it on the internet" doesn't count). This will effect the air going through the engine, which the ECU should be able to compensate for to an extent. But, you'd really want an ECU reprogramming to really take advantage of such modifications.
