All good points man. First of all, it shouldn't be that tough to find the right diff for swapping. The placement of the diff in all the cars is the same. And I checked and the final drive ratios are the same for MT and AT, so that's not a problem. You just need to find an R200V that either has the 3x2 bolt output shafts, or swap output shafts, or get 5 bolt halfshafts. I'm not saying any of this is going to be a piece of cake, but the info is out there, and it really shouldn't be a problem.
I have a piece of advice/opinion, though. I think, and I'm sure many others would agree with me, that you're going to be MUCH happier spending your money on a 5speed swap right now. That will not only help you drift, it will make your car faster, and you will enjoy driving it even more. I'm sure you've already thought about this, but I just want to encourage you to do it. It will cost more money, but I think you'd be better off with a row-your-own and a one-tire-fire, rather than having a dorifto-matic.
