Do you have one, and if so what is it set to? I would imagine that any good breakaway spec that would help in acceleration, especially a high hp car, would be too stiff for tight driving. I know the stock nissan clutch diffs only have 30ft-lb breakway, but adding one shim to it puts it over 100ft-lbs and at that point you might as well just weld the thing. Which seems to be the same on a KAAZ. If you can tolerate a harsh ride and lots of noise to get a stiff clutch engagement, you might as well save $900 and weld the diff.
Is it a one way unit, or does it disengage on decel and lift throttle? I'm assuming 2way, if it's 1.5 or 1 way it would make more sence to me.
