Know that you will never get a stock ride-like-comfort with performance-orientated coilovers; you'll have to decide which you value more; the performance or the comfort.
Tein Type Flex's are not very expensive at all, and you should be able to pick them up WITH EDFC for around 1400 - 1600 easily.
If you're serious about quality and performance, look no further than Zeal Function series, HKS Hipermax series, Cusco zero/comp series, Gab Revolution, etc.
JIC (and tein) aren't known for their outstanding suspension, unless you get the high-tier teins (read: expen$ive) such as the type HTs, RAs etc.
