I'd guess that since the KA and SR trannies are similar, and that since short shifters and such are interchangeable between the two, and that I've heard from a few KA owners pondering using this shifter, the shifter would be adaptable to a KA as easily as it would be to an SR (It looks as though it mounts similar to a short shifter though).
You'd still need to use your clutch though, so the only ease it would bring would be to simplify shifting, the biggest difference being diagonal shifts like 2-3 or 4-5 shifts, being able to "find gears" easier.
