highway miles do not count in terms of break-in. 300 miles is supposed to be light-footed, around town driving in order for the new clutch to bed in with the fly wheel. if you're just cruising at 80 on I-39 for 4 hours, the clutch is just sitting there. there is very little torque on a clutch happening at cruise (look at how light your throttle is, for example). so i hate to burst your bubble like that, but i'd rather do that than have you trash a brand new clutch, travis.
