The jackstands are very common in rallying and are fairly easy to make. They are made with mild steel tubing but are more than strong enough for each corner of the car. The jacking points are mild steel tubing as well, reinforced with 1/8" plate on the outer and inner rocker panel. The nicest ones I have seen so far are the swrt titanium ones. very nice.
