Viceroy and nutswingers:
Leave the man alone. Maybe he can't race? Not everyone is as lucky as those of us who do track our cars. Maybe he doesn't NEED fucking SPL RUCA, but does that mean he's worthy of belittlement and insult to this extreme degree? This is a car forum, and wrenchers need to stick together, not bitchfight over stupid shit like how cool you are because you can turn a spring perch with a spanner until you drag exhaust. Oh, and (as I rather suspect you know) measuring from wheel-well peak to ground before and after lowering is standard practice, so I don't see the horror of his posting the measurements; you don't have to take (or not take) years of pharmacy to operate a tape measure. What's there to get your panties in a twist over?
OP:
Your car's not low, incase you still think it is. Go ahead and get the SPL RUCA, they work like racing adjustable rear upper control arms are designed to work. I suspect you won't break them or surpass their limits, and they'll work fine for you. I suggest you learn how to do a home alignment, and really consider the necessity of purchasing race-spec parts for what appears to be a street-driven vehicle, as they'll only increase NVH to no benefit for your (presumed) daily driving, parking, and joyously bump-free taco bell runs.
