ok so you guys can go ahead and correct me on this, but is it possible that somebody decked the block and neglected to have the timing chain cover resurfaced/decked? i can understand that decking a turbocharged vehicle's cylinder block that much (about as thick as the HG) wouldnt be very smart, but that doesnt mean that somebody wouldnt do it. thats the only reason i can think of as to why it would be like that. Other than that im thinking either way im gonna have to have that TC cover decked to meet the block.
