lol I havent answered this yet, so here goes my one sleepy eye tutorial this year:

the headlight switch actually doesnt control the motors, theres a seperate headlight controller box below. Rewiring directly from the motors to the pot could get you what you're looking for, and will help eliminate the left/right delay most of us have. Its a pain though, which is why some pay $100 for that lame Pivot controller.

If you want your lights on while sleepy, which is pointless unless you're flashing high beams at drift days, you'll have to rewire; otherwise just cut the brown wire and doubleclick that shit
