youre in luck. i posted this build on another forum but here's what im doing to my AE86 (its an ongoing project so its still not completed yet...wiring needs to be done still):


So I blew my motor and decided to swap in something a little different:

pulling out the POS 4AGE (excuse the GAY stock pizzacutter wheels for the time being)


then after pulling out the entire harness, ECU, and motor, i found this:


dammit! i probably didn't blow my motor after all! well i was too far along already...so I decided to continue anyways...

a last look at the stock crossmember...

the beast sleeps for her big day tomorrow...


Nissan KA24DE= plenty of torque!



cleaned out the motor...installed the custom crossmember

so close...but no lighting so we'll try again later


got the motor fully mounted...had to bang out the tranny tunnel and firewall to get it to fit as snug as possible without cutting anything. sorry i havent been working on this much been pretty busy at work...
