yeah sorry, it is the KA24DE.
i've been getting a lot of contradicting info on the timing procedure that i followed to set the base timing in the first place and low and behold i can find no such info in the Nissan FSM so i guess i have a new question.
what is the correct base timing procedure?
and second off why would the IVAC go bad after only sitting on a shelf for three weeks while the engine got a rebuild?
