Jeff and I were just brainstorming about this yesterday. I know that the outside will clean up so-so with a liquid cleaner wax, or pretty much any cleaner solution and a little rubbing. But I want more, so here are some ideas.
1. CLR its some stuff thats supposed to break away calcium, lime, rust, oxidation etc. If it works like in the commerical, you can just mix a solution and soak the entire assembly in it (after removing it from the car of course...)
2. Plexiglass cleaner + rag on a stick. Although somewhat crude the plexi cleaner should work wonders. Just get the same stuff sold at autozone to clean convertible plastic rear windows.
