eheheheh... i have the same problem.... the grinding noise you hear when you don't have your foot on the clutch is the throw-out bearing or release bearing... its making noise because its telling you that its almost time to replace it... if it gets really loud to where that's all you hear then its time to replace it...

the noise you hear while your driving is the B&M short shifter... there really isn't a solution to that other than taking it off and using a stock unit...

if you do not have the budget to replace it any of these... i'd say just blast the radio or just imagine that you have a sequential gearbox in your JGTC car....
