Okay, I don't recommend doing what you're contemplating doing for various reasons, namely because you need it for bleeding the cooling system. Plus the adapter may not clear your hood.
I recommend you install it on the upper radiator hose. If you mess up your radiator hose, you can always throw it away and buy a new hose. Your water outlet is much harder to come by.
