I stand corrected... When I read his original post I read it as it wasn't even cranking. I obviously misread his post.

But to be clear; I was talking about the starter interlock for the automatic transmission... not the clutch interlock.
However, in either case I'm wrong because if the starter interlock wasn't bypassed, the engine wouldn't even crank.

Also, to the thread starter; like g6civcx said in his first post, there are some connectors on the harnesses that aren't used at all around the battery and fuse box when you do a 5spd. swap. I have at least 3 on mine. IIRC that is one of them.
