Check for a parasitic power drain - try hooking up a voltmeter to your battery. You should be reading 14 volts as the motor is running. Step on your brakes & see if the voltage drops down to 12.5 volts or less. If it does then you've got either a). a bad battery, or b). a voltage regulator inside the alternator that's starting to go bad. My buddy's '95 S14 has the same problem. His car dies when his motor's decelerating & he's stepping on the brakes coming to a stop. He's also got a bad valve cover gasket so he could also be suffering from a vacuum leak too. Not sure..I'm still trying to figure this one out.
