John.. Using a bench grinder....I ground down one...I will call it...stay post on the SR driver's sided mount because it seemingly would not line up and drop into the hole on the crossmember. I also ground down the heat shield bolt on the SR driver's side mount to make it easier to work with. Do keep in mind I put both mounts in while the engine was still in the car.
