hmm, seems like you are new to 240sx/ performance. if your trying to keep good torque best thing is to not get a straight through exhaust, get a 2 chambered exhaust system, it flows lot more than stock, but it is little flow than a straight through. HOnestly, 240sx's naturally aspirated dont need straight through exhausts, especially if you have a high flow cat. 240sx's naturally aspirated will never be able to be made much faster. trust me , Im on my second 240sx. been through all that exhaust stuff. if i were you, i would invest in a Greddy Power Extreme exhaust. not too loud, very good performance upgrade with HP and torque. if you try a custom piping from a shop with a muffler, your gonna hate it very fast. well i now have a 92 240sx Turbo- t3/t4. turbo cars need straight through mufflers becaue they flow a LOT OF AIR , muffler restriction, restricts air= making it weaker. STOck engine cars-- liek 240sx KA24de - dont flow much air. sorry if you dont like what i said, but i am just helping you out man. so that you dont go through all the pain that everyone else basically has with their 240sx.
