if you have problems with your lock collars coming loose you probably have pencil arms or are tightening the collars with your hands or something. there is no reason you should ever need to use loctite on a shock body. sometimes i can barely get my coilovers apart with a sledge and a punch and half a bottle of wd40. i can only imagine if there was loctite in the threads.
