I disagree. It depends on the goals of the car and the power goals for the motor.
Regarding the motor, if you're looking for good response the s14sr is a better choice. If you don't care about response so much go with the s13 sr and the money you save can go towards a bigger turbo. Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Take if for what it's worth.
