2) Slice off the two heater core fittings and weld on 5/8" fittings. Then get flexible 5/8" heater hoses and connect them to your heater core.

1: waste of time. good in the long run if you're going to change out to braided lines and not use that water line. But i'm sure he's going to keep the turbo setup how it is.
2: what for? i've done plenty of swaps and never needed to do this. 5/8 hosing fits, it's just a very tight fit.
n2r, you can get rid of it and plug up the hard line going to the turbo elbow. But you mention you have a CA18, meaning your car is japanese rhd? you can leave that there.
pic 2, looks like a plug to one of the lower harness.
pic 4, the tranny vent hose, you mount that to one of the tranny bolt; when you mount the tranny to the engine.
Everything you have there should plug up into your car. coolant lines, brake booster line, emission stuff, fuel lines. with the CA18, you can see where all the stuff went.
The only thing you'll have tourble with is the wiring. search on the ca18 swaps people have done and compair the wiring to sr20. I believe it's just a repin job on the power plugs that goes to the Intake area.
