I think its time to clean house and ban anyone with red squares.
Check your ebrake connection.
Chances are the caliper is frozen so it doesn't come out when you pull the ebrake. If thats the problem just buy reman'd calipers.
I went through hell and back with my ebrake...the only thing that fixed it was buying new calipers.
