I have a 91 with 110k

Alright, ive read every post on here bout the guides and the noise they make, all of them on freshalloy, and ive read about it on 240sx.org.  lets just say i have read a lot stuff about it, and am not sure what the best course of action is cause it seemed i read a lot of different information on how to solve the issue on each post.

so i just want someone to clear up what can be done, including removing the top guide, if there is a metal replacement for that guide that i have read about, if since i hear the noise at idle all the time if my tensioners are not gettin enough oil pressure to keep the chain from slacking and hittin the guides causing the noise and if that is the root of the problem and removin the top guide would only be a temporary solution?
