since you know the turbo is going out already why is there even a question between getting new wheels or a new turbo?
If the turbo does go out the car is not going to run very peachy but hey at least you will have new tires for it to sit on.
what will probably happen is the turbo will go out and leave a massive amount of oil all over the place.
your best bet would be to replace the turbo now. it may be inconvenient because you might not be able to afford the supporting mods to make any more power after you get a new turbo but at least you wont have to have the car sitting around.
