does the pedal feel normal?
it sounds like a vacuum leak of some sort. If the pedal feels different and you can hear a strage leak kind of noise it might be your brake booster. Same thing happened to me. If your brake master cyclinder has ever leaked or is leaking it can cause the boosters diaphram to tear.
First check the vacuum lin going to the brake booster, etc.
