mmmm, I would say that if there is oil in the IC and the piping, check the down pipe/back of turbo for oil too, along with shaft play, if it wiggles more than a RCH (red c*nt hair) you should probably see that as rebuild/ upgrade time. But if not and the smoke is just fuel, check the codes, and/or go to the store and pick up some mass airflow meter cleaner spray. Don't use anything else, or it will eat it up. That is about all I can think of.
Dumb question, they are stock sr injectors right? Another friend of mine got a swap with 550's already in it. woot woot for freebies!
