The plug on mine had been damaged, so I needed to replace it, be thankfull yours is in as few pieces as it looks. Mine leterally shattered inside the port in the transmission. Millions of shards of aluminum and a speed sensor that wouldn't come out. It only took me maybe 3 hours to remove and replace.
