Never seen a clogged oil return - it's a rubber hose that goes straight down to the pan. Do you have an oil catch can attached? The stock motor should come with one, it's the black box lookin thing on the back of the motor above the exhaust manifold. If you dont, and the valve cover has some hose connectors up top that arent connected to anything, that could be why you're smoking.

Anyway, if it actually is fuel, and you haven't replaced and gapped the plugs, do that first. Stock boost, 28 thousanths (that's .028") or so gap. Someone already asked up higher here, but did u check the ECU for codes? We're also assuming you don't have the 2500rpm rev-cut from bad MAF wiring...
